Sickies

We have been sick at our house. So there has been a lot of nose cleaning, crying, movie watching, cuddling and sleeping. Being sick is the absolute pits, but we are on the healing end of it and are getting ready for a week of Thanksgiving and playing with some Rexburg folk,  better known as the Haslems!  We are so excited to see them!
On a more random note, I just looked over at Asa who is supposed to be napping, and watching his face expressions are cracking me up.  I can tell that his little imagination is just running wild. I wonder what he's thinking about that is making him smile, almost laugh? I love his age, and I love his unique personality..LOVE  my sweet Asa.

6 weeks

I really wish this tiny stage didn't go by so fast, but it does and I'm trying so hard to enjoy it while I can. Silas is now 6 weeks and and such a good, special baby. Quinn and I feel so blessed.  We absolutely love you Silas!!

Today was a hard day, like really really hard, I struggled and my two toddlers struggled. Not a good combination!  I'm sitting here re evaluating my whole day trying so hard not to beat myself up as a rookie of a mother and I can't help but think of tomorrow. Oh, how very very grateful I am for Tomorrow.  I make this promise now, to my two rambunctious, trouble making, sweet little boys..tomorrow will be better!! I love you Asa and Kyran.
Clearly this picture was not from today:)

This perfectly describes  you mom and dad.  Two of the strongest most beautiful people I know.  I saw it and thought of you both.

Teeny tiny

I'm just thinking today of  how fast these teeny tiny fingers and toes grow. There is a part of me that's sad it doesn't last forever. So for right now I'm just  trying to take it ALL in. Today, I'm so grateful for my camera that makes capturing and remembering my three little men so much easier!

A very special weekend

Mom and Dad, aka, grandma and grandpa came to visit us for the weekend. It was a quick trip, but we enjoyed every second we got to spend with them.  I miss so much, being around my mom and dad all the time. They are truly amazing people and I'm so incredibly lucky to have them as parents. Thank you mom and dad for making the trip to Boise to help celebrate our new Silas!

Grateful

If I had a penny for every time I randomly hear " wow, you have got your hands full"  I might be eventually be a rich women. ok not rich obviously but I do  get that all the time. I always just laugh and say,  "ya I guess I do! " but I'm mostly really thinking of how grateful I am to have my hands and arms FULL of these boys, rather than empty! I absolutely love how much fun and hard works my job requires of me. I have never felt more fulfilled as a person, and at the same time life has never been so simple, yet extremely difficult. Makes perfect sense right? Today I am so grateful to "have my hands full" I couldn't ask for more.
