Tonight I'm feeling lucky....

or should I say blessed to have these sweet little Binky babies.  Asa had a really hard time falling asleep tonight, which is pretty rare these days for him. I think I would normally be frustrated with the situation. But as I held him and rocked him I couldnt help but thank my father in heaven for that exact moment.  I felt as if  no mother in this world has ever loved their sons as much as  I love my boys, Quinn included.

Finally getting to the point where they can play together! 

The result of the best decision I ever made. 

Boise Balloon Fest

We woke up EARLY this morning to see this. I gotta say though it was totally worth it. It's funny because  a few years ago I loved waking up early to see the sunrise,  I took pride in being up hours before most people! But a completely different story now. I had a really really hard time even waking up at 7.  I think that I am safe to say I work much harder now than I did when I was single and working two jobs! But now I am finally getting to do what I have always wanted to do!

It was so  fun watching Asa's face as the balloons went up into the air.

Anyways we had a good time today, we searched for a toilet for Asa since we will be attempting to potty train, and we went to the city Library to get books for Quinn's 6 page paper that is due Tuesday.
It was a simple but totally enjoyable day!

That's  right, I know everyone is just dying to know what in the world have those Fowlers been up to lately??  Well its official, I have my husband back for good. Summer sales are over and school is in! Which means we get to be together as a family more, my most favorite thing in the entire world. Seriously it really is....

So since we have Quinn back I have been trying to squeeze in as much fun stuff as possible while the awesome weather is still here.  Like...

Hiking Camels back...mid day. You can do that kind of crazy stuff at 3 in the afternoon here.

Playing in the water at the Saturday farmers market. We love free water..

And going to the Western Idaho Fair.  Asa got to pet lots of animals which he loved, but I really think Quinn enjoyed it more.

We also went to Roaring Springs, a water park that was sadly not free so it will be a while before we go back there. Plus they don't allow any outside food, which is to me reason enough not to go back for a while!  We had so much fun riding around the park in the lazy river trying to avoid getting stuck under the waterfalls. 

Kyran stayed in my arms the whole time. And I truly loved it..

And today we went to Lucky Peak reservoir, a totally cool place to go and hang out. Asa loved playing in the sand with dad and I loved watching.

You should come visit us...

The water was really cold though, but do you think that stopped Asa and I from swimming out to the middle of the lake?

of course it didn't.

ZOO day

I took the kids to the Zoo today, which is why my house is so quiet right now. I have two tired boys and I am loving it. And so blogging is what I am choosing to do with my free time. Maybe not a wise choice, but I just dont really care. I am the boss applesauce! Quinn has been gone for work this week so I think our trip to the Zoo was just as much for me as it was for the boys. We needed to change it up, and we actually had a really good time.

Asa LOVES the goats. And I LOVE watching him.

Right now they have their butterfly exhibit going on, which was really cool to stand and let them land on us. 

They were so so beautiful.

 The one on my hat hung out with me the whole time. 

Kyran was with us, I just dont have pictures to prove it, but he was hooked to my chest the whole time. 

I look forward to next year when he will appreciate it a little more!

Oh and when Quinn can join us as well!

WHAT???? A NEW FOOTLOOSE? THIS IS SO SHOCKING AND SO CONFUSING I MUST WRITE IN ALL CAPITALS TO EMPHASIZE MY FEELINGS ON THE MATTER!!  IT MAY SOUND SILLY BUT FOOTLOOSE HAS A SPECIAL PLACE IN MY HEART. Anyways. I look forward to seeing it, who knows I may be adding it to OUR movie collection. No matter how hard Quinn tries to fight it.

SUMMA' TIME

LOVE SUMMER!!

This morning I was lucky enough to capture  a few sweet moments with my boys. Sadly pictures just don't do it justice. But you get the sweet idea.

 I just love this sweet boy and his sweet smile! So I thought it would be first up on the blog today. Since I am not great with words I am going to let the pictures do most of the explaining. Here are a few of my favorites from  the last few weeks.

...Kyran is such a JOY. Seriously.

 We went to Idaho Falls for the 4th to see the  Haslems, and of course we enjoyed every minute.

SWEET. Sometimes though it can be described as bitter but the bitter is just as much apart of life as the sweet. But I am SO grateful I have the Sweets that I do to make the bitter so totally and completely worth it.
