Winter...Bleh...This is basically how our winter has gone so far. But cute, right?  We have to find silly ways to entertain ourselves indoors. Here in Boise, Winter has basically just begun but I am so much craving  some warm summer sun. I think I am in for a long winter!

This picture is just so funny to me. Kyran being a goofball!

Some days I get so tired of being stuck inside our cramped apartment. But I know that it's not forever and I am so grateful I have been blessed with  a warm home filled with 3 amazing people!
Not a bad trade off huh?

Craving a Salad....

Yes that is right. Salad. My body needs a Salad, But Thanksgiving with my DEAR sister Sarah and her family was amazing! By the way I am kidding about the Salad Sarah. kind of.

The kids were SO patient with Asa!  I think Asa started to think he owned the place. SWOORY guys...

Photo bomb! Love you Emily!!

There was a lot of fun, a lot of laughing, a lot of relaxing and a lot of eating going on at the Haslems and we loved every minute we had with them. Thank you so much again Haslems for letting us bring our chaos to Rexburg! Love you all!

Halloween with the Fowlers

I'm Not a real big fan of Halloween, Quinn and I both are a couple of duds when it comes to Halloween. But I really REALLY loved seeing how happy Asa was running house to house.

I do appreciate the people who do get into Halloween though like this guy. Thanks Batman!

I do believe that these 2 little people can make just about anything better!
Even Halloween!

KYRAN

I am rebelling tonight and ignoring my nightly routine and duties. Instead, my feet are propped up in my chair, and  I am doing some serious relaxing. AHHHHHHH.... K, so
I am pretty sure my sweet baby Kyran will be walking soon.  He stands every chance he gets, pulling himself up on everything and every once in a while he will hold it for a few seconds and then usually topple over.  It has become very scary for me!

But I SO love his determination!

I love how happy he is all day long!

Quinn made Asa a little car track and tried to teach him how to use it. But really all Kyran and Asa wanted to do was pull the tape off.
So we made a game out of that instead, and had A LOT of fun!

Asa loves Buzz, And I mean loves. I find it so adorable. Everything becomes so much cuter when it is your own kid. Annoying right? I am totally one of those moms.
So I wanted him to have his own Buzz and so a few weeks ago I bought him a little cheap one with intentions of giving it to him as a reward for being potty trained. I dont want him to just expect to be given things for doing nothing. You know?  But I caved. Last night I begged Quinn to give it to him. And Buzz has not left  Asas side since.
I love this character stage. It reminds me my silly brother Pj. I think we all have fond memories of that kid and all his different characters growing up. PJ if only we all had the passion that you carry around with you!
Well its nap time, so I am going to go get some reading in while I still can!

Tonight I'm feeling lucky....

or should I say blessed to have these sweet little Binky babies.  Asa had a really hard time falling asleep tonight, which is pretty rare these days for him. I think I would normally be frustrated with the situation. But as I held him and rocked him I couldnt help but thank my father in heaven for that exact moment.  I felt as if  no mother in this world has ever loved their sons as much as  I love my boys, Quinn included.

Finally getting to the point where they can play together!

The result of the best decision I ever made.

Boise Balloon Fest

We woke up EARLY this morning to see this. I gotta say though it was totally worth it. It's funny because  a few years ago I loved waking up early to see the sunrise,  I took pride in being up hours before most people! But a completely different story now. I had a really really hard time even waking up at 7.  I think that I am safe to say I work much harder now than I did when I was single and working two jobs! But now I am finally getting to do what I have always wanted to do!

It was so  fun watching Asa's face as the balloons went up into the air.

My smiling Kyran who ALWAYS makes me smile!

This guy was the star of the show for some reason...what, is he like famous or something?
Anyways we had a good time today, we searched for a toilet for Asa since we will be attempting to potty train, and we went to the city Library to get books for Quinn's 6 page paper that is due Tuesday.
It was a simple but totally enjoyable day!
